Make Over for a Cause Testimonial
Dusty King is one of Makeover for a Cause clients who was a resident of "Our Lady's Inn". At the age of 16 Dusty got pregnant with her first child. She was homeless at the age of 15 escaping her mothers house for the fact that she was surrounded by drugs all the time. Being raped at the age of 12 by her uncle and having parents that consumed drugs and alcohol did not help Dusty however encouraged her to want to change and not live that lifestyle. Falling in love and deciding to get married was great joy to Dusty however not having the money to afford a wedding was holding her back. That's when Makeover For a Cause stepped in to help her dreams come true.
Makeover for a Cause Took care of all expenses of wedding, dress, rings, tux, flowers and hair and makeup. We even pampered Dusty with a Mani, Pedi, and tan.
Dusty is now married with three children, got her first apartment, and trying to better herself for her children.
Makeover for a Cause will take on anyone in need of a life changing makeover for the better as long as they are clean and sober. Dusty has been clean for almost a year and is doing wonderful!
